Gender Mainstreaming

The IMC is committed to gender balance on its websites. To enhance readability the use of male and female forms will be distributed evenly in English texts. In German texts one form is used to address both genders.

General Terms and Conditions

applying to

IMC Fachhochschule Krems GmbH,
hereinafter referred to as “IMC”

General terms for participation in events/congresses/symposia at IMC Fachhochschule Krems GmbH

1. General introduction

These General Terms and Conditions shall apply to the registration for and participation in seminars, congresses or symposia (hereinafter referred to as “events”) at IMC Fachhochschule Krems.

2. Registration and payment

Registration for an event at IMC Krems shall be made in writing, by fax or on-line on the registration page of IMC Krems (www.fh-krems.ac.at) on or before the indicated registration deadline. After receiving the registration fee a confirmation will be forwarded.

3. Prices

The indicated prices for talk the future® 2008 are net (+20% VAT).

4. Cancellation

Events can be cancelled free of charge within 90 days before the event. After that we have to claim an administration charge of 50% of the registration fee.

5. Cancellation of events

IMC shall be entitled to cancel an event in the case of force majeure of other reasons.

The participants will be informed by phone, e-mail or via the web-site by the IMC Fachhochschule Krems.

6. Liability

Participation in events of IMC Fachhochschule Krems is at one’s own risk.

The participant shall be liable for any damage done to the furnishings or buildings of IMC Krems, which were caused by the participant.

7. Data protection

IMC Fachhochschule Krems will handle data supplied by the participants with utmost care and only in accordance with the data protection requirements. By registration the participants express their agreement to saving personal data for staging the event as well as for information on participation.

8. Copyright

IMC Fachhochschule Krems reserves all rights, including those of photomechanical reproduction, copy and dissemination by means of special procedures (for example data processing, data carriers and data networks) both in whole or in part of all papers distributed in the course of its event.

9. Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from or in connection with an event at IMC Fachhochschule Krems shall be settled by the district court of Krems an der Donau.

10. Final provision

With his/her registration the participant accepts these General Terms and Conditions and takes note that non-compliance results in his/her exclusion from the event.
