iPhone and Mobile Applications
Ronald Tremmel, General Manager of Apple Austria presents the iPhone 2.0 and the power of the new iPhone Software Development Kit (SDK) at “talk the future® 2008”.
The iPhone SDK provides developers with a rich set of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and tools to create innovative applications for iPhone and iPod® touch. The legendary venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield Byers set up a $100 million "iFund" to back iPhone software start-ups. This will secure many new creative application for business and home usage.

Bio: While studying at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, Ronald Tremmel started his career in 1993 at Minolta Austria where his fields of responsibility were sales and marketing of the Camera Devision as well as development and organisation of subsidiaries in Central and Eastern Europe. In 2003 he became General Manager of Nikon Austria. In June 2005, Ronald Tremmel joined Apple Austria. While his professional career Ronald Tremmel completed a postgraduate MBA programme.
